Deep in the heart of Jakarta's slums lies a safe house for the world's most dangerous killers and gangsters. This is a great film for martial arts and action junkies alike. This is the second film for both main actor and director. The first film, Merantau, is also a stylish and brutal fighting film. The martial art style unique to Indonesia, Silat, is the best brutality of Muay Thai mixed with the power of jujitsu. The quick blurb above is wrong though. Rama, played by the main actor, is not the team leader but a rookie on the team that raids the building.

You must remember this is not an American made movie, it is not an American Blockbuster. Indonesia is a totally different country so you can't compare the way the movie is set out. 10/10 for this movie. One of the best action/gore movie of all times. Indonesia rules 2012 action movie. Its like the Ong Bak movie crossed with Jackie Chan, Jet li an Bruce Lee all put together.

Well crafted epic fighting movie, the cast is great, editing is top notch. The feeling of being trapped within a grimey, run down Jakarta slum with criminals chasing them is electrifying edgy. The moody, dark and minimal Musical sound track is done by Shinoda of Linkin Park fame and is the perfect accompaniment to each scene that takes place. The ancient Indonesian Puncak Silat is the main martial arts of this movie albeit less authentic than Merantau, its a more modern version of the Art. Must Watch.
