Following immediately after the event of THE RAID: REDEMPTION, Rama (Iko Uwais) is forced to reinvent himself as an undercover cop in order to provide protection for his wife and child. Working for the anti-corruption task force led by the one person he can trust, Bunawar, he is given a mission to engage himself as an enforcer for a local mob boss, Bangun. Finding a way in through Bangun's son Uco, Rama must hunt for information linking Bangun with the police force corruption. All the while, he harbors a dangerous and personal vendetta for revenge and justice that threatens to consume him and bring both this mission and the organized crime syndicates crashing down.

One of the greatest action films by far, forget your MCU, and DCEU, if you want a great film, character and polt-driven, with real shock value in every scene, this film is a must-watch with friends. Iko Uwais and director Gareth Evans are a dream team, and I would love to see a potential 3rd film to end this great film franchise, but they'd struggle to beat this film.

Amazing film and an incredible sequel. Not only are the stunts and the fighting scenes mesmerising but, there is very decent plot and the characters are straight out of the darkest graphic novels. The showdown at the end is relentless violence but a thing of beauty.

Amazing movie, far exceeded my expectations and totally out did it's predecessor "The Raid". A great watch.
