Read the book in Primary School (many years ago)! Seen the film several times.....fantastic, when Jenny Augtter's character is reunited with her Father on the railway station platform....a tear jerker!

I revisit this film and remember what it was like to be when young! Everything was possible and around every other corner lay adventure and wonder......

I first saw this film at the age of 17 and was so impressed that I travelled to Yorkshire to Oakworth station. I still love it 45 years later.
