The death of a child in mysterious circumstances; sparks of a series of events that seem to represent biblical plagues, start occurring in of all places a town called *Haven* located deep in the bowels of bible belt country in the bayous of Louisiana. Sort of...I'm not sure how "accurate" any of this is, both in terms of how it relates to Scripture or to science for that matter (scientific explanations for a series of plagues) but it's interesting enough to be convincing, and a lot of aspects of it are either creepy or gross (bugs, locusts) without being horrifically gory. I can't give it five stars because some things are just too Hollywood and weak, and not in a fun way. Overall I liked it though.

Weird story, and a little slow. But turned out to be pretty good. Loved the ending!
