Superstar Keanu Reeves (the "Matrix" trilogy, "Sweet November") stars in this fact-based comedy about the 1987 National Football League players' strike. A motley group of replacement players for the Washington Sentinels overcome all odds and put together a string of seemingly impossible victories. Co-starring two-time Oscar-winner Gene Hackman ("Heist," "Unforgiven"), Orlando Jones ("The Time Machine," "Chain of Fools") and Jon Favreau ("Made," "Swingers"). I've seen this movie a few times when I was younger,after watching it again tonight I can confirm it being as great as I remembered it to be. If your a sports fan or not.

The Replacements is one of my all-time favorite movies. It's got cheezy music, boy-meets-girl plot line, life lessons from football, the mentor coach, character conflict/resolution and a true story that anyone who has ever played sports can relate to. Long live the Setinals and Shane Falco!!!
