Elements in the movie are laughable. to be specific in terms of tactics, communication and even how the weapons operate. I get the fact that this movie is old, and that there are things from those years that Hollywood could or could not do, but it was almost like a bad comedy with how they portray a BRIGADIER GENERAL leading a small band of rouge Marines though Alcatraz, getting their hands on five missiles that happen to be weapons of mass destruction, which happen to have the typical Sci-Fi super-weapon build from the time, all of the tactics displayed are the same, stale "spray and pray" as any gunslinger kind of movie. Deuteragonist just so happens to be a multinational conspirator who happens to have "dirt" on the nation's darkest secrets, and was locked away for decades with no hope, and then "miraculously" is freed. the movie is laughable, makes little sense. Typical of Michael Bay.

Not the smartest movie Michael bay ever made, but this one is to good to be ignored. Let's forget about all his stupid transformer sequels.
