"For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and is himself destroyed or lost?" ~ Luke 9:25 "There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death." ~ Proverbs 14:12 Man is separated from a good God because of his sin. Therefore his idea of what is good and necessary is tainted at best. Often what we think is good is actually destructive. So it is a danger to be our own master when only one Being can make good choices for us, requiring our trust in Him. This movie uses half-truths to appeal to our selfish destructive natures. I found this movie deceptively dangerous. There are things we want that may end up destroying us. I do not need "The Secret" (the law of attraction) when I have God through Jesus Christ. I refuse to be the captain of my own destiny when God has the Plan for me.

The entire premise is to wish for change and the "universe" magically grants it, but ONLY if you believe hard enough. That's just vague enough to cover everyone. If you luck out and something good happens, why it's because the secret works! If not it's because YOU don't believe enough.
