The original made lots of money, so obviously they had to make a sequel... Unfortunately, it's rather bad - the cliched story is poorly cobbled together (including "inspired" ideas like "pets on holidays" and "evil Russian circus"), and is so disjointed, that it sometimes feels like you're watching a cheap Nickelodeon cartoon. I had very low expectations and was still disappointed.

My wife and I thought it was a great film, good funny moments. A good sequel and I am sure they will attempt to make more ... for better or for worse. It didn't feel pained like most sequels of films like these tend to feel. Great range of returning characters and some good new additions.

Great film Went to the cinema to see the secret life of pets 2 and it was packed of people I thought it was really funny and very enjoyable I wasn't as keen on the 1st one so wasn't sure about seeing the 2nd and was amazing. I would highly recommend watching this kids will love and adults if you are a massive animal lover.
