Indulging in elaborate daydreams, Walter finds himself on a real adventure when the lovely and enigmatic Rosalind van Hoorn (Virginia Mayo) ropes him into a situation involving valuable jewels, a little black book, and a sinister criminal named Dr. Hugo Hollingshead (Boris Karloff).
