Absolutely stunning work of art, and I do mean art. Every little detail in this movie made my mind wander back to my years studying the Book of Kells and many others, you have no idea how happy I was to find this tribute to, in my mind at least, one of the greatest and most beautiful illustrated manuscripts ever made. I loved the story, the art style, the music and the characters! Some people say the art style here is an acquired taste, but not to me, it felt familiar and warm. I only wish there were more movies out there that embraced a style of their own in this way. To the creators of this film I say "Thank you!"

This movie is amazing. You may not quite love it the first time you see it; it's a little indy, takes a little getting used to, maybe just a little confusing at points, but I give it five stars because I have fallen in love with the animation, the voices, and the story. One of my all-time favorite movies, right along with this studio's second film, Song of the Sea.

I remmeber when the movie first came out when I was a kid, I used to watch it over and over again without stopping because it was just that good. From the art style down to the sound track it gives the audience a ravishing experience.😁
