After being orphaned, young Maria Merryweather leaves her luxurious home to live with her eccentric uncle at the mysterious Moonacre Manor. There, she discovers a magical world torn apart by an ancient feud and inhabited by outlandish characters and mythical beasts. Now, Maria must unearth the secrets of her past before the 5000th moon rises and Moonacre Manor disappears into the sea forever. Great fantasy with good values. Brings up important topics such as forgiveness and sacrifice, while still being funny, lighthearted, and without killing the story. Clean and wholesome, with some minor violence...good for the whole family.

Definitely my favorite movie, I fell in love with it (and robin) I really wish they could make a second one following Maria and Robin's romance as in the book

Your family will love this movie! They will laugh at some parts, and they will cry at others. The experience of the movie is amazing and the special features will make you feel like you are in Moonacre Valley. The overall struggles of the characters will blow you away. This fantasy based movie has everything from unicorns to lions. My favorite movie of all tume.
