Paralyzed and confined to an iron lung since childhood, poet-journalist Mark O'Brien (Hawkes) has overcome adversity time and time again. This film is crass, awkward, explicit, and boring all at the same time. Definitely not one to show to your mother. Or father. Or friends. Perhaps consider showing it to your worst enemy if you want to be particularly cruel.

Very well thought movie on a very tricky subject.
