The Seventh Sign continues to mesmerize after more than 30 years. I have never understood why this film is considered a "horror film" given it's overwhelmingly inspired and positive story and ending. It's a beautiful story performed beautifully by Moore, Prochnow, Beihn and Friedman. While narrow in it's delivery it's message is universal in scope. Rent it, buy it and watch it! I have lost count of the number of times I have watched this film over the decades. It IS that good.

January 24, 2024 I am a Christian, Holy Spirit filled. I heard a voice say "Will you die for me". I knew I had heard that voice and statment before. I went to YouTube and put in the search space, "Will you die for me". This movie came up and I realized over forty years ago I had seen this movie. The incarnate Jesus looked at her wrist scars. How could one who does not value life save the world. I was that woman.

I haven't seen this movie in over 15 years...but nothing feels dated (other than a few hair styles). It's an exciting, well paced look at what-could-be, through the eyes of flawed, somewhat tragic but still redeemable everywoman Demi Moore, who nails this role. Well Done. Highly Recommend.
