In the taut thriller, when Nancy (Blake Lively) is surfing on a secluded beach, she finds herself on the feeding ground of a great white shark. Though she is stranded only 200 yards from shore, survival proves to be the ultimate test of wills, requiring all of Nancy’s ingenuity, resourcefulness, and fortitude.

This movie was great, compared to all the other scary-shark movies out there. I was hesitant to rent this at first for the only reason being my thoughts were "not another shark movie". The jump scares are amazing. Visual effects outstanding. Beautiful scenery. Excellent acting. Good plot. This is definitely worth watching.

Very good movie. Great effort from the people behind it. Proof that even with a low budget you can work miracles. Big bonus the shark did not look fake in most scenes.

It's OK. When watching this movie I've imagined myself being in the young surfer - girl's shoes and... OMG, I wouldn't like to be!😯😨😲☻To have shark cruising around me stacked on the rock, and me being soo close to the shore, but so 'far away' because of the present danger of the man eater... Grrr...No, thank you.
