Rayburn Swanson (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) entiende la pérdida. Su única hija adolescente fue secuestrada hace cinco años y desde entonces ha caído en una espiral de alcoholismo y autodestrucción. Después de la desaparición de su hija, Rayburn dejó de cazar y decidió ayudar a los animales que solía matar estableciendo un santuario de vida silvestre autosuficiente en la tierra salvaje que bordea las inhóspitas aguas fronterizas. Ahora pasa sus días bebiendo y monitoreando la actividad de los animales con una serie de cámaras de circuito cerrado que rodean su apartada propiedad. La vida de Rayburn comienza a correr peligro cuando detecta algo horrible en uno de los monitores de seguridad; un asesino, vestido con un traje ghillie, está cazando en el santuario de Rayburn a una chica que se parece a su hija desaparecida. Decidido a salvarla, Rayburn empieza una carrera para encontrarla antes de que lo haga el asesino.

Calificaciones y opiniones

Id say this is a pretty decent movie. Coster-Waldau seems to work well in these thriller and suspense roles. Saw him in Headhunters - that was also pretty good. I thought the plot was a little weak around the sherrifs brother. There was a few things they could have done there to draw out his character a little more and make it part of a bigger twist. They also could have taken a twist a bit further with the sheriff herself and the two hunters near the beginning. A few scenes i did not see coming which is always good. If you like a decent thriller then this should not disappoint. Worth a few bucks to rent for sure.

I'd say it is an Ok movie. More than enjoying it raises questions about how a guy who is hit by a medieval arrow, in a Rambo style stitches up his wound and next day start fighting and wrestling with a big guy. And then he is shot in stomache, and after receivng treatment in a caravan he walks next day and starts fighting again. I can't turn my head around it.

I found this film highly entertaining and gripping. I watched it with a friend and we both thought that it was well-worth the investment of time as well as the hiring fee. The plot was believable, the acting was good and the film was refreshingly free from cliches.
