About this movie

It's 1851, and Charlie and Eli Sisters are both brothers and assassins, boys grown to men in a savage and hostile world. The Sisters brothers find themselves on a journey through the Northwest, bringing them to the mountains of Oregon, a dangerous brothel in the small town of Mayfield, and eventually, the gold rush land of California -- an adventure that tests the deadly family ties that bind.

If this is a comedy then I need the term comedy redefined to me or the ones calling it a comedy need some serious education evaluations done on their schooling as it appears they may never have gone to school and certainly never seen a comedy. Please refer yourselves to Benny Hill or Dave Allen or Billy Connolly, this was not a comedy it was a drama with I think 3 humouros things not belly laughter just moderately humourous, the Great Escap with James Garner, Steve McQueen, Donald Mallard, and Richard Attenborough contained funier skits and that was a serious war movie, oh well comedy must have been re evaluated since I was at school. If you're looking for something worth $15 this isn't it.

This is obviously not a comedy, however it is a beautiful and alternate approach to this period with brilliant acting, especially Jake, John, Joaquin and Riz. The influence of the director and the moving look at human motivation is brilliant, absolutely loved it. Jaques Audiard did a fantastic job and acting from the likes of Joaquin was outstanding.
