A newly wed woman loses her mind and is sent to a state hospital for treatment. Her husband remains loyal to her and enlists the help of a kindly pychiatrist. The woman is exposed to the tragedies and brutal conditions of an overcrowded asylum.

I love this movie. I've seen it several times, the song Going Home was sung at my Mother's funeral 13 years ago and I cried when I heard it. August 7th I will be singing this at my Mother in laws Memorial service. It's such an emotional song I hope I can get through it without crying to much. I recommend the movie Snake Pit if you haven't already seen it.
