Reeling from the brutal murder of his mother, Jake uses his massive online presence to highlight nationwide police corruption and general apathy. His viral videos initially lead to a nationwide increase in the number of law enforcement internal investigations, but soon the videos inspire a vigilante movement known as "The Pioneers." Disturbed by the level of brutality the group inflicts on their captive criminals, Jake speaks out against The Pioneers and suddenly finds himself their prime target.
