Animation was technically good but lacked charm. The movie as a whole lacked the SpongeBob feel. My kids were split on whether they liked it. Both were annoyed they changed the history of the characters.

Great movie! We enjoyed it so much, we would watch it more than once. Whoever dislikes this movie doesn't have any friends. Great message in the movie!

Underwhelming and lacking in funny. The average television series episode has more laughs and a better story. Disappointing follow-up to the last film
