I went into this thinking spongebob would be a baby because of the trailer. I was thinking to myself if this was even the right movie Second off this movie was fed to you like a cake because the plotline forced spongebob and patrick to go on an adventure and didn't have any serious tones like the first movie I would love to see more of the emotional bond spongebob has when gary is missing like the episode "gary come home". instead they just did a one minute sad phase then moved onto next scene

sucks because it was the same story from the goddamn episodes SpongeBob SquarePants and I watched it and it was trashed the first to move were the best this one is disappointment if we go out watching this if you guys are playing twenty Dollars don't pay for it it's a scanned it's a scam and you're just like that it's up to your kids if you like that I do not like it I did see the first offense and they're both good but this one has to be one of the worst much of all time the worst ones of 2020

Every bad review comes from people who are not a true spongebob fan. The movie referenced so many old episodes. THE ANIMATION CANNOT BE RECKONED WITH. The lights, the colors, the details are all amazing. Not to mention the song choice and features which amazed me that spongebob included. If I were to rate the plot I would give it a 95%. Truly a beautiful movie. I cannot express in words how good this movie is. It's a must watch.
