An 11-year-old boy finds a mysterious staircase in the woods and disappears while on a hunting trip with his grandfather. 20 years later, a group of friends set off into the very same woods. That evening they come face to face with the same set of stairs. Worlds collide as some lose their lives and others step up to become heroes.

This movie has potential but it lacks soooo much it's unforgivable. The acting is in its juvenile state, though 4 of 5 friends do an acceptable job. Although, the men were my favorite. The "family" scene was the best but it also had potential to be better. Focus on the stairs is lost throughout which makes them unnecessary. I wish this was done by a professional and focused on the title. The paranormal lore of "the stairs" is lost.

I'm not sure who wrote the comment... its "the best" horror movie they have ever seen because this was one of the lamest horror movies I've ever seen...don't waste your time

I've been hearing about mysterious stairs in the forests lately. It seems to be a thing now. I'll be very interested to see what this movie's take on the phenomenon is.
