Bienvenido a Belle Reve, la prisión infernal con la mayor tasa de mortalidad en los EE. UU. Allí cumplen condena los peores supervillanos, que harán lo que sea para salir, incluso unirse al escuadrón supersecreto Fuerza Especial X. ¿La misión de vida o muerte de hoy? Reunir a un grupo de estafadores que incluye a Bloodsport, Peacemaker, Capitán Boomerang, Ratcatcher 2, Savant, King Shark, Blackguard, Javelin y Harley Quinn. Después, darles armas y lánzalos a la remota isla de Corto Maltés, plagada de enemigos. El Escuadrón se abrirá paso por una jungla llena de adversarios militantes y fuerzas guerrilleras en una misión de búsqueda y destrucción, en la que solo el coronel Rick Flag hará que se comporten... Y los genios de la informática de Amanda Waller, no les perderán pisada. Un solo movimiento en falso y están muertos (ya sea a manos de sus adversarios, de un compañero del equipo o de la mismísima Waller).

Calificaciones y opiniones

A pretty average film. It tries every trick in the book to make itself more of a visual spectacle and does an okay job, but sadly it doesn't have much of a story, it's 30 to 40 minutes longer than it needs to be and the cast has very little chemistry. When the best performance in the film is by a CGI shark with a sum total of about 20 lines, that kind of speaks volumes.

Biggest waste of your time. Action scenes are all over-the-place. The writer and director needed to have studio interference in this case. Editing is skewed and inconsistent. Good actors are wasted in this self - indulgent super hero geek dream. What happened to character development?Computer Special Effects loaded orgasm.

***NO SPOILERS**** Lost me in the first 20 min, was actually so disappointed in this movie. Love James Gunn's previous work but this missed the mark for me by a mile, by the end of the film I felt like my time was completely wasted. There was only a handful of redeeming moments but that's all dwarfed by poor writing and horrible, horrible forced jokes you'd expect from a early 2000s dollar store comedy. DC is truly making it hard for fans to enjoy these movies. Some Characters shine and some have their heads exploded by not just Amanda Waller but the poor writing of the creative team. Rent this on sale only if you NEED to see it, but imo this falls below even Wonder Woman 1984 so be warned. 2/10
