Why do these athletes risk everything to reach a place humans are simply not meant to go? Story line is convoluted and non-linear in the worst of ways. CGI is fine. There is no emotional investment created. Purpose and side stories and unclear and confusion.

The story feels convoluted and confused -- the narrative isn't linear and makes it INCREDIBLY hard to understand what happened.
