Karma comes into play when a wealthy wisecracking landlord (Joe Pesci) is ordered by a court to live in his own New York City slum. Given 120 days to restore the rundown building and avoid jail-time, the pressure is on for Louie to convince his money-grubbing father - the man with the real money and the building's true owner - to invest money for repairs.
