I februari 1972 samlades en grupp svenska politiker för att tillsammans skapa en ny framtidsvision. Med drivkraften att utmana traditionella samhällsstrukturer som motiv utformades ett nytt mål: deras bild var ett samhälle av autonoma individer. Ett manifest skrevs, där det fastslogs att ingen medborgare ska vara beroende av en annan. Fyrtio år senare är Sverige världens ensammaste land. Vi toppar den internationella statistiken både vad gäller människor som lever och människor som dör ensamstående. The Swedish Theory of Love ämnar att föra den skandinaviska perfektionens sprickor och brister till ytan, för att närmare granska baksidan av vårt moderna leverne.

Calificaciones y opiniones

Complete rubbish. They interviewed a danish guy, some newly arrived immigrants and than a had a interview in Ethiopia. Nothing to do about the title. Nothing about society and no science or anything at all.

Well it's a bit rough edged and quirky at times but makes very strong points on why individual independence isn't all good. What we in the developed and modern world can learn from "the others" / looking back before we got to this stage of social progress and welfare. It's not about destroying the system but rather increasing awareness of its downsides and risks to better manage them.
