Idris Elba (Star Trek Beyond) stars as Sean Briar, a rogue CIA agent who isn’t afraid to step on a few toes to solve a case. While roaming the streets of Paris, a pickpocket (Richard Madden, TV's "Game of Thrones") swipes a bag containing a bomb and inadvertently ruins a bank heist attempt by corrupt French government officials. Now labeled as a terrorist threat, the only person who can save him is Sean. This unlikely duo join forces to solve the case before they become victims in a devious plot of international conspiracy. Plays like Jack Reacher, but in this case it's Black Reacher. I am a huge fan of Elba , from watching Luther, and other appearances, but from the direction of this movie, not to mention nearly identical trailer music to jack Reacher, I think he deserved a better director and script. The latest in the "Older-guy-rebel-he-only-cares-about-right-and-wrong-one-man-army-hellbent-on-busting government corruption" Genre. (It's really a Genre. I swear), complete with lovable girl magnet sidekick, Mr "You know nothing" himself, Jon Snow, (Richard Madden), this genre could really use some better scripting, and Elba and madden could really consider finding better agents. These are those high stakes action fluff pics that can create, (Mission impossible) or destroy, (Waterworld/'The Postman) careers. Personally I look forward to Idris, getting a little more Elba room.

When I first saw this movie I thought it was called Bastille day, yeah if you google Bastille Day the movie this shows up they have the movie title wrong on here, still a great movie
