Walter Garber (Denzel Washington) is a New York City subway dispatcher whose ordinary day is thrown into chaos by an audacious crime: the hijacking of a subway train. Ryder (John Travolta), the criminal mastermind behind the hijacking and leader of a highly-armed gang of four, threatens to execute the train's passengers unless a large ransom is paid within one hour. As the tension mounts beneath his feet, Garber employs his vast knowledge of the subway system in a battle to outwit Ryder and save the hostages. But there's one riddle Garber can't solve: even if the thieves get the money, how can they possibly escape? Calificaciones y opiniones

Denzel Washington is a really good actor and is usually in a lot of my kind of films. John Travolta I'm not keen on really as an actor but seems ok in this. In regards to the film, Travolta looks the part but as soon as he speaks he spoils the film. If Travolta had a shave and switched positions with Denzel Washington in the film then I think it may of been a much better film.

If you get the chance watch the original and then compare it against this rubbish. The problem lays with botched script, poor choice of director and pandering to the egos of two Hollywood stars.

Great film, enjoyable, 2 great actors on show...
