About this movie

A haunting account of a man tormented by the heart of the man he murdered, who continually re-admits himself into a medical facility in a futile attempt to escape from his impending madness. Set in contemporary New Orleans, The Tell-Tale Heart is based on Edgar Allan Poe’s classic short story of the same name and stars Patrick John Flueger, Rose McGowan and Peter Bogdanovich.

If you love artsy photography but aren't too concerned about things like story lines or plot, this could be for you. This is a pretentious pile of garbage with cartoon bits thrown in here and there for effect. The character is tossed back and forth through flashbacks like a tennis ball without any reason. The film is a confused hodgepodge that leaves you asking yourself, "why did I just waste an hour and twenty minutes of my life?" I have to agree with the other reviewer that called it the way it is. There was no suspense, no scares, no anything. Blah.

Hard to watch, painful, wish I could get my money back!!!! Never been a fan of the lackluster, stiff botox face Rose McGowan and this movie is one of the greatest reason why. It tries so hard that it just doesn't.

Hitchcock, Shyamalan, Spielberg--you have been called out, sirs. La Tier elevates Edgar Allan Poe's 1843 short story to the cinematic stratosphere. If McGowan sizzles, Flueger smolders as an ex-pilot washing down pills with whiskey as he winds his way toward a horrifying truth that must be seen to be believed.
