A cyborg is sent from the future on a deadly mission. He has to kill Sarah Connor, a young woman whose life will have a great significance in years to come. Sarah has only one protector - Kyle Reese - also sent from the future. The Terminator uses his exceptional intelligence and strength to find Sarah, but is there any way to stop the seemingly indestructible cyborg ?

The Terminator is one of my all time favorites films. This version however does not have the original mono audio, and anyone who is bothered by it may want to avoid this version. This would've been a 5 star rating, but because I'm one of those who despises anything other than the original mono audio then that earns this version of The Terminator a 4 star. Great movie nonetheless.

Made back in1984, this movie is one of the best Horror/Action movies ever made. Not a lot of people think of it as a horror, but if a robot from the future was sent back to kill you and won't stop until you're dead would you not be shitting your pants right now? The action in this movie is decent but what's really cool is the practical effects. Sure, they're pretty dated but, they're still pretty scary. Plus, there's no CGI anywhere in this movie. That's a plus for me! (B+)
