Probably the worst war movie I’ve ever seen. Lots of weird army men’s thoughts embroiled with war scenes and boring down time. Based on a novel not a true story. So distant from the real accounts.

outstanding war movie. describes not just the brutality, evil, suffering of war, and some people find meaning from achievement, greed, love from brotherhood, parenthood, ... whatever, but everything seems to mean nothing when you are caught in a war ... humanity is lost.
