Based on the graphic novel by James Jones, The Thin Red Line tells the story of a group of men, an Army Rifle company called C-for-Charlie, who change, suffer, and ultimately make essential discoveries about themselves during the fierce World War II battle of Guadalcanal. Probably the worst war movie I’ve ever seen. Lots of weird army men’s thoughts embroiled with war scenes and boring down time. Based on a novel not a true story. So distant from the real accounts.

outstanding war movie. describes not just the brutality, evil, suffering of war, and some people find meaning from achievement, greed, love from brotherhood, parenthood, ... whatever, but everything seems to mean nothing when you are caught in a war ... humanity is lost.
