A UFO crashes near an isolated military base in the far Arctic.Scientists recover the craft's now-frozen alien pilot and take it back to their base. I loved watching the source material for one of my all time favorite sci fi/horror films, The Thing. I really do enjoy the work Howard Hawks & the cast did here but I'm still a larger fan of Carpenter's take on the story. CHECK THIS ONE OUT!

This movie is older than my Grandpa but it still gets up every morning and eats bacon, drinks coffee and smokes cigarettes. Then it goes to work. Forever, watching the skies...🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Five stars : Built to last

A very well made suspense horror film. The story was written well. The acting was very good. The antagonist was scary for the era in which the film was made. My only criticism is that I did not get as much of the antagonist as I would have liked.
