This version of the Dumas classic has it all, and captured my attention at a very young age! I never tire of watching it, and think it is truly the best version of the story to date!! Gene Kelly fits perfectly into his role with great skill and effective acting...I love his facial expressions. Lana Turner, Vincent Price, and the rest of the cast also shine!!!

This was one of my favorite movies as a child and now my children are about to watch it too! Amazing cast, spectacular story, excellent writing, one of the greats made during the golden age of movie making!

This is one of the better movies ever made as far as Alexandre Dumas is concerned I have every single book he ever wrote and they're all over a hundred years old very good stories I have all these books my books over a hundred years old and all the stories are good I have always books my bookshelf 100 years old in all the stories are good
