Based on the New York Times best-selling book. One morning, 10-year-old Rob Horton (Convery) encounters a real-life tiger, held captive in the woods by mean-spirited motel owner, Beauchamp (Quaid). On the same extraordinary day, he meets Sistine Bailey (Mills), a girl who shows her feelings as readily as Rob hides his. As they learn to trust each other, and with the help of wise and mysterious hotel maid Willie May (Latifah), Rob and Sistine prove that some things – like memories, heartaches, and tigers – can't be locked up forever.
