About this movie

THE TOUCHSTONE is a teen comedy about a student on a high school field trip who uncovers a relic that makes whoever has it irresistible to virgins, and the disastrous consequences that occur when he and his friends try to use it to get the girls of their dreams.

Wedgies, projectile vomiting, lusty nuns, and even a hedge hog all play a part in the hilarity that ensues when our hero Ryan uncovers a long-buried Native American fetish on Kickapoo Mountain, and brings it home. At first he gives it to his father, thinking it little more than a worthless rock, but when his father soon after is repeatedly mobbed by young girls, he begins to suspect something different.

Ryan enlists the help of two friends, school perv Justin and clueless dweeb Sean, and nun molestation together they set out to learn the laws surrounding this newfound chick-magnet, intent on using it to get girls who otherwise wouldn't give them the time of day. It all comes to a head at a wild party that they crash, where one of them manages to get lucky for different reasons altogether, and the other two learn a valuable lesson in morality when faced with the very real prospect of seducing innocent girls who are powerless to resist them.

Where do I start? I'll start with Robert's 5 star review in answer to Trevor's 1 star reiview. Robert is Robert Remy - the filmmaker of this rubbish. I'll follow up by saying it's not even a professional film but is instead a bunch of amateurs hamming it up badly in front of a camcorder. Then I'll finish off with the quality of the writing and directing, all zero quality.

Where do I start? Mark? Mark is obviously Trevor's boyfriend. Or maybe just secretly wants to snuggle with him. He spells "review" wrong cuz he's distracted just thinking about it. I actually watched this movie at a screening a while back and it's pretty good. It isn't perfect, not exactly Oscar material, but the acting is really good and the quality is better than a lot of other stuff I've seen out there. Anybody who actually watches the movie will agree which Mark did not. It's a decent story and pretty funny. The kid who plays Sean is great.

While u can tell they didn't have a lot of money, the acting of the main characters was really good, better than a lot of Hollywood films, and the story moved along as a good pace. A lot of funny lines and scenes. Nice job.
