THE Biggest and the best from the 70's Disaster Movie genre, complete with an All-Star cast, including character actors Dabney Coleman. Susan Flannery (Ex-Stephanie Forrester, B&B), and Mike Lookiland. who had just completed his fifth and final season as Bobby Brady in The Brady Bunch. The film won Oscars for its fantastic set designs and for Best Original Song, ,"We May Never Love Like This Again," performed on and off screen by Maureen McGovern.

As a Firefighter obviously the plot doesn't stick well for me with that said its a overall good movie. Little cheesy at times but its something i'd watch again and again(and i have haha).

The Towering Inferno is a true classic movie. I first saw this movie back in 1995 on American Movie Classics(AMC). I was impressed by its' all-star cast. And, of the all-around good acting ability. This movie is way better than the movie Earthquake. One question though. After the water tanks explosions, how did the survivors get back down to the ground floor? A great classic movie.
