Academy Award® winner Ben Affleck writes, directs and stars in this crime drama/romance. Based on the novel The Prince of Thieves by Chuck Hogan, Affleck's film follows a career criminal (Affleck) who finds himself romantically involved with the manager of a bank (Rebecca Hall) he held up. A high-stakes love triangle develops when an equally infatuated FBI agent (Mad Men's Jon Hamm) arrives in the pursuit of justice. Stolen cash and a stolen heart lead to a relationship that could destroy this prince of thieves.

Good convincing acting all around, plot keeps you interested and the action and suspense complete it to a truly enjoyable movie. Ben Affleck is a solid actor and director and I'm sure we'll see even better stuff from him in the future.

This movie is phenomenal. Great cast, great script, well-directed. Kudos to Ben Affleck. Awesome. The action and drama are tense and perfectly paced. Satisfying ending leaves a smile on your face.

The acting,particularly that of Affleck,is a bit wooden, the storyline predictable results of his direction. But not a bad way to kill a rainy afternoon.Not a movie to see more than once. I tried to ,believe me. Good chase scene near the end though.
