A filmről
65 years after a masked serial killer terrorized the small town of Texarkana, the so-called "moonlight murders" begin again. Is it a copycat or something even more sinister? A lonely high school girl, with dark secrets of her own, may be the key to catching him.

Trivialized the real unsolved serial killings documented in a film by the
same name. Uses those murders as the backstory for a poorly written and
poorly acted porno/slasher flick. Trash not worth watching much less paying
for it losing precious time from your life. Rather watch paint drying.

The original is a yeehaw made for tv looking pseudo documentary that doesn't hold a candle to 70s low budgets like Chainsaw, so it's not difficult to be better. Problem being you pretty much have to watch the original to understand this one, they kind of go together. Not bad, but not great.

It seems like were living in an era of film making where there are no more original ideas? So the end result is a lot of remakes and reboots from films in the 70s and 80s. Hell even the 90s! Most of these remakes suck with the exception of a few like the remake of Dawn of the Dead for example which was surprisingly very good. The town that dreaded sundown surprised me its not a great remake like Dawn of the Dead but it's definitely better than most of the remakes of lately. To me this is worth watching.
