In the long awaited follow-up to the smash hit THE TRIP, Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon embark on a new culinary road trip around Italy, where they enjoy mouth-watering meals in the gorgeous surroundings of Liguria, Tuscany, Rome, Amalfi and Capri. Funny for the first five minutes. Basically a movie about male menopause, chasing women , cheating on wife, and reminiscing about women. Didn't even watch it all the way through. An embarrassing follow up movie.

Very laid back style with the occasional humorous moment. Italy does look beautiful in this via a kind of "rich man's" perspective. I do like the two gents but they go overkill on the impersonations.

This movie tries so hard to be smart, fast paced an witty. The two main characters are so full of them selves that it is bordering the obnoxious. But in the end it just gets really tedious.
