A romantically challenged morning show producer's search for Mr. Perfect has left her hopelessly single. She's in for a rude awakening when her bosses team her with Mike Chadway, a hardcore TV personality who promises to spill the ugly truth on what makes men and women tick.

Enjoyed this one immensely. Very entertaining and intelligent. Funny and direct, without being crass. Touches on many contemporary issues in dating and relationships (online dating sites, evolutionary psychology, massive proliferation of relationship advice books, etc.). Four instead of five stars for some sappy cheesiness. Especially with the teary-eyed "bad boy" protagonist with a "big heart" (father figure for his nephew) and a cringeworthy "kiss+confession of love" in a balloon ride cliche happy-ending.

Gerard Butler and Katherine Heigl were well cast in this humorously romantic story. The antagonism between the two main characters and their eventual capitulation to each other was fun to watch.

I was fond of it light humor . I notice some gave bad review, some offended or said not realistic, etc. Stop being so up tight and is meant as light humor. Enjoyed it.
