關於這部電影

Jason thought his inheritance was going to be the gift of money and lots of it. Was he ever in for a big surprise. Based on the best-selling book "The Ultimate Gift" by Jim Stovall, the story sends trust fund baby Jason Stevens on an improbable journey of discovery, having to answer the ultimate question: "What is the relationship between wealth and happiness?" Jason had a very simple relationship with his impossibly wealthy Grandfather, Howard "Red" Stevens. He hated him. No heart-to-heart talks, no warm fuzzies, just cold hard cash. So of course he figured that when Red died, the whole "reading of the will" thing would be another simple cash transaction, that his Grandfather's money would allow him to continue living in the lifestyle to which he had become accustomed. But what Red left him was anything but simple. Red instead devised a plan for Jason to experience a crash course on life. Twelve tasks, which Red calls "gifts," each challenging Jason in an improbable way, the accumulation of which would change him forever.

One of my favorite movies that has an amazing life message for everyone about the value relationships over wealth of stuff. What is really valuable in life to you shows your heart and determines what you will value and how you value others and relationships. True Joy is Jesus first, others second, yourself last. Love the actors and casting who portray their parts perfectly taking you into the story and feeling the passion, heartache and pain, which is part of life. I wish everyone would see it.

Perhaps a little unrealistic (I hope so anyway, the gift of friends, oooo that one was NASTY) but the message makes up for it. You will cringe, wince, frown thoughtfully, laugh, and cry in that order (with some repetition, especially on the last two on that list) as the movie rolls. Put this on whenever you need a kick in the pants to wake up and feel gratitude. Snif. I'm starting to cry just thinking about it, no exageration. That last conversation between Jason and his grandfather at the end..

I think that it was awesome. I really like how Jason changes into a better person and comes to like Alexia and Emily. And I like that Jason doesn't care about money in the end and opens Emily's home, it was so sweet. I also really like when ever Emily and Jason were together it was so sweet. One more thing I think that it was really sad at the end when Emily dies and when even Jason was really sad. I cried. I think that it was a good message and the gifts were good too: work, friends, family, learning, money, problems, love, laughter, dreams, giving, gratitude, and a day.
