Acerca de esta película

The Unbelievers follows renowned scientists Richard Dawkins and Lawrence Krauss across the globe as they speak publicly about the importance of science and reason in the modern world. Blasphemous to some, heroic to others, the weight of their message is impossible to ignore. Presented in the style of traditional 'rock-n-roll tour films', The Unbelievers joins Dawkins and Krauss as they speak to sold-out stadiums and halls across three continents while contending with fans, groupies, critics, debate partners and interviewers along with religious extremists bent on stifling their pro-science/pro-reason message. Months of international travel culminate at the 2012 Rally For Reason on the US Capitol lawn in Washington, D.C. Billed as the largest gathering of atheists, secularists, freethinkers and sceptics in world-history, Dawkins and Krauss bear witness to the impact of their message as over 30,000 adoring fans - and protestors - greet them with enthusiasm.

While it isn't informative about the topics specifically, it is a good look at what is going on and seeing just how big the movement is and who supports it. It's somewhat encouraging seeing some of these celebrities and notable people talking about their views. If you're looking for a film that discusses the issues in depth, then it's going to fall short. If you're looking for a film that gives you a glimpse of the push to have people be more rational with their thoughts, then you'll find it worth while to watch. For me, it was enjoyable and showed me a behind the scenes look at some of the conventions that these great minds attend and the talks that they give.

Boring, stuffy intellectuals talk about how stupid everyone else is who doesn't see things their way. Hey, they are playing cool background music, so they must be cool too. They travel around the world while the camera man shows tall buildings and bridges. Wow! Amazing! Oh, wait, now they are in deep contemplation! Wow! There's a guy happy to shake their hands (they must be very important). They don't say much except that they are very smart because their friends say so.

Is it hard to see hypocrisy from a group who is so bent on promoting "progressive", "Liberal" free thinking, to attack the freedom to "think" or "believe" in a "God". What bad comes from believing, that Jesus is my path to eternal life, which is a teaching of honesty, loving, caring, giving and not judging (Christians who judge a person rather than their actions will themselves be judged for that) ; basically, the opposite of this film? Because I disagree, I don't automatically hate. Science can prove much.
