Watch the original movie in French, "Les Intouchables" - far better and very funny. this is an American remake.. I have not seen this one, but will possibly will at some stage but the original movie, which is based on a true story, is way better and funnier. I will give this 1 star just so I can post this.

Inferior to the original but still OK if you pretend the original never existed, maybe? Kevin Hart clearly doesn't the dramatic chops to pull off what his character in the original did but he does have the comedic chops. Just so so really.

My wife and I really enjoyed this film. Some have criticized the simple feel-good themes / plot, however, we found it genuinely heart-warming and funny. Great acting and many clever moments. Refreshingly light and redemptive.
