About this movie

An idyllic family vacation turns into a living nightmare for parents Paul (Thomas Jane) and Wendy (Anne Heche) when their young daughter disappears without a trace. When the local sheriff (Jason Patric) fails to chase down any new leads, the frantic parents have no choice but to take matters into their own hands. As tensions mount and the list of suspects grows, the search for the truth leads to a shocking revelation where nothing is what it seems in this gripping psychological thriller.

I figured it out pretty quick. Which of course leaves me judging how well the movie hides it the whole movie. It didn't do so well. The editing, writing, and directing pretty much held this whole movie back. Also Anne Heche hasn't been sexy in long time, so why.. The acting could have been better but think that was the directors fault, also think some better parts left on editing room floor. This was a good concept ruined. Anyway if it's free maybe watch don't pay.

We rented this without knowing any info or watching any previews on it. I found it pretty entertaining because of the suspense of not knowing. The worst nightmare of every parent. It does have a twist ending, but if you pay attention you'll understand the twist better & see it coming as there is bits that make you question why anyone would react with certain behavior to situation. I don't want to ruin for anyone so I won't go into detail. Jason Patric nails his part perfectly.

I thi k figuring out what's going on early really makes a difference. I didn't, and enjoyed some of the movie. But things jumped around a lot, and there seemed to be a lot of odd side activities that didn't seem necessary. It was fine, but not amazing.
