About this movie

On an uninhabited island, 20 miles from the rugged Scottish coast, three lighthouse keepers arrive for their six-week shift. As they settle into their usual, solitary routines, something unexpected and potentially life-changing occurs. They stumble upon something that isn’t theirs to keep. What follows is a tense battle for survival, fed by isolation, paranoia and greed, leading three honest men down a path to destruction.

The acting is the best part of this movie. Story line is very slow, ending leaves you disappointed. I think the part about 3 lighthouse men disappearing may be the only true part of this story, the rest may have been thought up.

It's a fictional story based on the disappearance of lighthouse keepers. No one knows what really happened. Just theories out there. Acting was good but storyline was very meh, especially the ending. I don't think we care much about the characters much.

I'd rather eat a raw dead fish than watch this again. The best thing about it is Gerard Butler's beard.
