When Becca and Tyler are sent to their grandparents' secluded Pennsylvania farm for a weeklong stay, they quickly discover something is not right with the elderly couple. Faced with strange rules and increasingly frightening behavior, the children soon realize it will take all their wits to make it home alive. Critics rave, the latest heart-pounding thriller from the director of The Sixth Sense and Signs and the producer of Paranormal Activity and The Purge is a "deliciously creepy triumph."** **Scott Mendelson, Forbes.com

Great part was how till very close to the end I waffled between thinking Pop Pop and Nana were just regular ol' folks with their quirks, and/or did they replace the real grandparents and something scary bad is about to happen. Not bad for a PG-13 flick. Shamalama-Dingdong is hit and miss, maybe 60% hit. This one definitely one of his hits. For the genre it's a 9 out of 10, and didn't we all think this genre was completely played out? All actors were very believable. It's a solid B, or B+.

This movie had it's moments but overall, I loved watching it. My favorite scene in theovie was when the kids and adults were playing a board game and the grandmother was eating cookies and yelled out, "YAHTZEE!" Classic!! ЁЯШД

Honestly I loved it.It made me ugly cry at the end. Then it made me laugh. It was very tense and omg the plot twist. I NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT THAT like it was kinda in the back of my mind, but I didn't think that much about it Then boom their mom says "Those aren't your grandparents" EVERYTHING WENT FULL CIRCLE.You don't think too much about them working at a mental health facility, you think that it just sets them up as good people trying their best. Then you're like, yeah that makes sense. 10/10
