關於這部電影

When Becca and Tyler are sent to their grandparents' secluded Pennsylvania farm for a weeklong stay, they quickly discover something is not right with the elderly couple. Faced with strange rules and increasingly frightening behavior, the children soon realize it will take all their wits to make it home alive. Critics rave, the latest heart-pounding thriller from the director of The Sixth Sense and Signs and the producer of Paranormal Activity and The Purge is a “deliciously creepy triumph.”** **Scott Mendelson, Forbes.com (Original Title - The Visit) - 2015 Universal Studios. M. Night Shyamalan takes a small step back on to the path of brilliance. Do not let the found-footage format lower your expectations for this film. For a film paid for out of pocket, Shyamalan delivers an extremely enjoyable time. Much like The Village, this movie had an awful marketing team. The trailers make The Visit seem like a straight horror movie that sets out only to fill its viewers with fear. This is not the case, however. The Visit absolutely flourishes for the strange little genre that it finds itself in. The movie is very funny but also reaches for some dramatic themes. It succeeds in both aspects excellently. The whole grandparent bit is a tool to allow Shyamalan to tell his story. The real story in this movie does not revolve around the grandparents at all. However, the grandparents do increase the entertainment value greatly. Both of the children are very fun characters, who give great performances. The movie is also filled with satire and references to Shyamalan and his work, reminding the viewer of how small this movie really is. The Visit is a very unique movie. A horror drama comedy that does well in each category, without sacrificing its integrity.

I WENT TO SEE THIS IN THEATERS WITH MY SISTER AND MY COUSIN. WE THOUGHT THIS WOULD BE SCARY, BUT THE WHOLE MOVIE IS CHEESY AS HELL AND IT'S SO PATHETIC. IF YOU WANT TO LAUGH YOUR ASS OFF LIKE EVERYONE IN THE THEATER DID, I PROMISE YOU THIS MOVUE WILL. ONE GUY WAS PISSED BECAUSE HE PAID $10 TO SEE THIS.

Sorry, not scary at all. With the kids videotaping everything, I felt that there was no dramatic tension; maybe it was just the way it was directed. Seemed almost like a teen comedy movie. Wasn't sure if I was supposed to laugh at times. Fell mostly flat for me. Of course, after 'Get Out', anything would be a let-down.
