Two cinematic legends, John Wayne and Kirk Douglas, team up to seize a small fortune in gold in this action-packed western classic. Could have been a good story if Wayne and Lancaster had not insisted on playing it cute (maybe that was the director's fault). Simple example, the final shot (and gag). Problem is, one cannot take their characters seriously, W & L are just play acting, going through the motions.

I watched this movie today and i thought it was a good movie good western flim classic from john wayne good story good cast worth seeing

Loved this movie. Shows what can happen when you plan ahead.
