A satire horror, The Warning provides a sense of familiarity to found footage, yet a breath of fresh air on the stale take of rickety camera-work and a desolate plot. The characters are well structured and the heroine is engaging, allowing the viewer to care if she meets her demise. Enthralling, comical, eerie, character-driven, and intriguing all at the same time, The Warning is sure to engage fans of the "Based on True Events" and found footage sub-genres.

I thought the only good thing about this movie would be watching these annoying characters get killed off and they didn't even give me that. I gave it two stars instead of one because I liked the dead cats in the tree bit.

Watched this with my girlfriend the other night and she got scared. Pretty decent movie with twists. We were wondering if that stuff still goes on in Colorado. Definitely watch it!
