I love watching Stiller, Vaughn, and Hill, and expected better. I've watched previous movies starring them and laughed through the entire movie. I think I may have chuckled twice in this one. It's not like it's unwatchable, but this is far from a great comedy. It was under $3 to rent, and I wouldn't recommend paying any more than that.

The film takes a while to pick up steam, but once the alien "subplot" finally kicks in, the movie has some great moments. Too bad it takes over an hour to get there. Frankly, there aren't enough good laughs (and the ones that are here are few and far between) to make this worth your while.

You would think with some great comedians this movie would be a clear slam dunk. Not at all. Its a slow moving dredge through the inferior plot. I laughed a few times but not nearly enough to warrant sitting through almost 2 hours of the characters sitting around talking and not doing anything.
